Spacious, lovely 2 bedroom duplex apartment within short walk to the
beach, and splendid views.
Layout includes comfortable kitchen, living room, separate
dining area, and large covered exterior spaces. Bright and airy and charming!
A light, open feeling like a house, with approximately
1100 SF of space.
L-shaped design maximizes the pleasure
of island breezes.
Allegro Suite: This upper apartment has a beautifully
tiled main gallery off the livingroom and a private balcony off the
master bedroom, both overlooking the Frederiksted pier and harbor.
The apartment has one deluxe bathroom, vanity and large dressing room
with sink, and laundryroom with laundry tub and hook-up for private
washer and dryer (private washer/dryer not included, but common use
of washer is provided on premises). Attractive ceramic tile flooring
throughout. High natural wood rafter ceiings
add to the spacious feeling. Windows in every room give nice 360 degree
views, that includes sunrise sky colors above the trees.
Basic Furnishings: The apartment is furnished with livingroom
furniture (comfortable futon sofa which folds into double bed, 2 cushioned
rattan chairs and matching ottoman, rattan end table and
more), queen size bed, dining table set with four chairs, and basic
linens (sheets, towels, pillows) and household supplies (tableware,
dishes, basic cooking equipment, kitchen linens, knives and serving
utensils, and cleaning supplies). There are numerous closets, drawers,
shelving throughout the apartment. Most rooms have soft overhead or
wall lighting builtin. The apartment has an electric range, full size
refrigerator, ceiling fans in all main rooms. There is a washer on
premises for shared use.
Views and Neighborhood: Beautiful sea views and spectacular
sunsets. The home is part of a hillside residential
neighborhood south of the town of Frederiksted, uphill from a home-based
family auto repair service. From the property you can see all the way
from Sandy Point beach and the Great Salt Pond (the southwest peninsula),
the Frederiksted pier and harbor, to north of Frederiksted. Short walk
or drive to many favorite swimming/snorkeling/diving venues and the renown
Beachside Cafe, near historic town of Frederiksted to north and Sandy
Point federal wildlife sanctuary to the south where protected turtle
nesting grounds are celebrated seasonally.
Landscaped Grounds: Almost half-acre lot in natural
setting on hillside (three sides surrounded by natural vegetation or
meadow), with spectacular sunset views over the Caribbean ocean from
the large balconies. The front yard is graced by two species
of trees with magnificent red flowers - the well-known "flamboyant
tree" and a rarer African tree whose seasons of flowers overlap.
Mature plantings include various varieties of palm trees, papaya, banana,
avocado, bougainvillea, aloe, and many other tropical plantings. Motion

Caretaker On-premises: The Adagio Suite (the apartment
below the Allegro Suite) is now occupied by our on-premises caretaker.
This is an added benefit of convenience and security for tenants of the Allegro
Suite,
while he both lives and works on the property.
Allegro Suite Rental:
No dogs or cats.
Rent includes some services, but not utilities.
Electric and city water is metered, at tenant's expense.
References and security deposits required.
Long term lease is preferred, but shorter leases will be considered depending
on the circumstances.
