General Info:
Spacious, lovely 2 bedroom duplex apartment within short walk to the
beach.
Layouts include comfortable kitchen, living room, separate
dining area, and large covered exterior spaces. Bright and airy and charming!
Both apartments have a light, open feeling like a house, with approximately
1100 SF of space.
L-shaped design maximizes the pleasure of island breezes.
Views and Neighborhood: Beautiful sea views and spectacular
sunsets. The home is part of a hillside residential neighborhood south
of the historic town of Frederiksted. From the property you can see all the way from Sandy Point beach
and the Great Salt Pond (the southwest peninsula), the Frederiksted pier
and harbor, to far north of Frederiksted. Short walk or drive to many favorite
swimming/snorkeling/diving venues and the Beachside Cafe, near
historic town of Frederiksted to north and Sandy Point federal wildlife
sanctuary to the south where protected turtle nesting grounds are celebrated
seasonally.
Landscaped Grounds: Almost half-acre lot in natural
setting on hillside (three sides surrounded by natural vegetation or
open meadow), with spectacular sunset views over the Caribbean ocean
from the large balconies and patio. The front yard is graced by tropical
species of trees, including the well-known flamboyant tree with
magnificent red flowers. Mature plantings include various varieties of
palm trees, bougainvillea, aloe, ginger thomas, neem and tamarind trees,
exotic bamboo and many other tropical plantings. Motion
detector exterior security lights. On premises parking next to house.
Basic Furnishings: Apartments are partially furnished
-- with livingroom furniture (futon sofa which folds into double bed,
2 cushioned rattan chairs and matching ottoman, rattan end table and
more), computer desk/table, lamps,
dining table set with four
chairs, queen size bed, 2 dressers, outside cushioned lounge chair, basic
linens (queen size sheets, towels, pillows) and household supplies (tableware,
dishes, basic cooking equipment, kitchen linens, microwave oven, coffee
maker, cleaning supplies). There are numerous
closets, drawers, shelving throughout the apartments. Most rooms have
soft overhead or wall lighting builtin. The apartments have ranges, full
size refrigerators, ceiling fans in all main rooms. There is a washer/dryer
facility with EnergyStar rating on premises for shared use.
Caretaker On-premises: The Adagio Suite (the ground level apartment
below the Allegro Suite) is now occupied by our on-premises caretaker.
This is an added benefit of convenience and security for tenants of the
Allegro Suite, while he both lives and works on the property.

and water utilities are paid by tenant and are already activated,
cable wiring in place if you wish to subscribe.
Rental application, first/last month rent and security deposits
required.
Other lease arrangements will be considered depending on the circumstances.
Remember the entire rest of the island can't be more than 28 miles
away!
This is a dream house for us, that many years from now (we are
not yet near retirement), we plan to live in ourselves. We would like tenants
who will take good care of it.
